Almaty half-day city tour

For the guests of the southern capital of Kazakhstan, CityTour.Asia has developed a half-day tour of Almaty city center.
The first half of the city-tour is similar to the programme of the two-hour tour - tourists meet the guide near the main entrance to the Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Abay (crossroads of Kabanbai Batyr and Panfilova streets of Almaty). Then tourists with a guide walk along the pedestrian Panfilova Street to Astana Square.
Having familiarised themselves with the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR (nowadays the building houses the Kazakh-British Technical University), guests will proceed to the pedestrian Zhibek Zholy Street (Silk Way).
Walking along Zhibek Zholy Street, tourists visit the Green Bazaar - Almaty's famous and oldest market, the historical and cultural heart of the city. The Green Market is not only a place for shopping, but also a real immersion into the flavor of Kazakh culture and everyday life, where locals and tourists can experience the atmosphere of an oriental bazaar.
Coming out of the Green Bazaar tourists get to the Park of Memory of 28 Panfilov heroes, here you can get acquainted with the Ascension Cathedral, as well as the monuments ‘Glory’ and Eternal Flame. In the Park of Memory of 28 heroes-Panfilovtsev ends a four-hour tour of Almaty city center.

65 USD for one guest, individual tour.
65 USD for a group of guests in the number of 2-4 participants of the excursion.
75 USD for a group of guests in the number of 5-10 participants of the excursion.
